Recent Thefts from Vehicles – Don’t Leave Valuables in your Car

There has been one break-in and one theft from vehicles at the Mud Lake parking lot over the last couple months.  Although this is very rare at the Paulson Trails, members and visitors are reminded to lock your vehicle while skiing and not leave any valuable items unattended in your vehicle.

Ski Trails Map Update

An update to the Paulson Cross Country Ski Trails Map is available from our Trails and Maps webpage and from the Avenza map store for the Avenza app for your phone.  The update includes some minor trail tweaks and ‘steep trail’ notations useful for skiers new to the trails.

Private Ski Lessons Available

The Castlegar Nordic Ski Club hosts private ski lessons, from beginner to intermediate to advanced levels, conducted by Andy Morel of Kootenay Nordic Ventures.  Visit this link for details and contact information.
