The Castlegar AGM is set for November 20^th from 5:30pm-8:00pm—Save the Date!

This year we’ll be meeting in the beautiful Kinnaird Hall to…

• Press fresh apple cider!
• Vote in our Club Executive and talk trails!
• Enjoy a Potluck Dinner!
• And see a Castlegar Search and Rescue special presentation!

Cider Pressing Fundraiser

Our SDP youth team will be pressing fresh apple cider in the parking lot as a fundraiser, and for a donation, they will fill your reusable 1L or Gallon bottle! Show up at 5:30 to make sure you get some before the apples are all gone!

We’ll be saving the last few gallons of cider for our season’s moonlight skis and youth program Saturdays!

AGM Presentation, Voting, and Open Discussion

We would love it if you would consider joining that amazing team of community members!

This year we could benefit from an Executive volunteer who would:

• lead our community relationships and fundraising efforts,

• help oversee our youth skier program,

• Get involved with our grant writing team

• Or just be a part of the board and help out where possible!

In addition to swearing in our Executive Members, we’ll be discussing the community-survey which we sent out in the spring and how that is guiding our projects, decisions and strategies in the coming seasons.

We’ll also be opening the floor during this time to hear from you! If you have any questions, comments or ideas for our club – this is the time and place to share and discuss!

Potluck Dinner

After that, we’ll all be celebrating with a potluck dinner! Bring an appetizer, Main dish or dessert, and a serving utensil. (An ingredients list on your dish can help those with allergies).

During the dinner, Search and Rescue will helping us start the season with a safety presentation on back-country trail safety, emergency self and assisted rescue.
