Dog Days of Winter- A Fundraiser for Castlegar Nordic’s Grooming Facilities
Kootenay dog-lovers rejoice! The chance to ski with your dogs on the Kootenay’s best classic ski trails has finally come!! So come on out for Dog Days of Winter and make your dog a happy hound!
On Sunday, March17th we’re opening the trails up to our K-9 friends and their owners for a day of dog-skiing, or skijoring, as its known by some.
The Event is a fundraiser to help the Club build our much needed Grooming Facility. For all skiers who bring their dogs that day, we’ll be asking for a simple donation to our Club Fundraiser (suggested $10-$20). Help the grooming team to build a new garage so that they can finally store, heat and maintain all of the grooming equipment, leading to more consistent and improved trail conditions.

All dogs MUST be on a leash while on our trails.
Please scoop your poop. Bring your own doggy bags, or use the bags and garbage receptacles provided at the trailhead.
